Why bother trying to clean up the old rusty unit, specially for a part that is so visible. Posted by Gerald Delaney on 12th Jan 2017 Very nice replacement unit for your machine. Posted by Jerry Juenemann on 31st Dec 2017 THIS 750 HONDA RING ADAPTS EASILY WHEN THERE IS NO OTHER WAY. THE 2 HOLES AT 4 AND 7 O'CLOCK DO NOT LINE UP EXACTLY, BUT AFTER ELONGATING THEM SLIGHTLY AND USING RUBBER WASHERS I NOW HAVE THE BEST LIGHT POSSIBLE. IT SOLVED A VERY DIFFICULT PROBLEM OF FITMENT. I NEEDED THIS TO MOUNT A JW SPEAKER 7" ROUND HEADLIGHT ON MY 2007 HONDA 919 THAT WAS NOT DESIGNED FOR IT. I had to use some parts of the original headlight and could not install the fine tuning screw as it just didn't fit. I used it to install an aftermarket LED headlight on my 2017 Suzuki SV650. The actual bracket was slightly off so it wouldn’t fit on mine. I had to take some pliers and bend a lip back on the outer chrome piece so it would fit on the bowl. I emailed 4into1 all they said is I didn’t have a stock headlight bowl and I could get a refund As long as I didn’t try to install the part. The lens is the larger 7' diameter (earlier 450's use the smaller 6.25' headlight) and the replacement bucket looks period correct and works with the factory mounts. I bought it based on a suggestion from svrider forum that this would fit a 650. The light is a 35W / 35W high an low beam so it means more light but will not over tax the charging system. I did not use it because it didn't fit my suzuki, but the product is for a Honda and it's well made. The lens requires reusing your existing trim ring and hardware, and benefits from the use some small shims (rubber, tape, etc.) to help keep the lens securely in place.Used it on a CB750 Nighthawk. ![]() Installation Tip: Clean your connectors well to remove any corrosion. If you need the headlight bucket as well, check out our Bucket Kit. That is the other major electrical upgrade to do on your Honda CB450 or CB500T that gets more efficiency out of the charging system. If you have not already upgraded the regulator / rectifier on your bike time to do it too. ![]() The lens is the larger 7" diameter (earlier 450's use the smaller 6.25" lens kit) and fits the factory bucket without any guesswork. The light is a 35W / 35W high an low beam so it means more light but will not over tax the charging system. This new light is significantly brighter than the original and is much easier to change when bulb replacements are necessary. ![]() Time to kick it up a notch with our replacement headlight lens and halogen H4 bulb kit.
